PORT Human Services is a private, non profit organization that provides a full continuum of substance abuse and mental health services for the citizens of eastern North Carolina. The organization was founded in 2003 and is governed by a Board of Directors representing a cross section of citizens from the area. Services are provided by the most qualified professionals adhering to a high standard of quality and values. We invite you to discover all that PORT has to offer. We believe that mental illness, alcoholism and drug dependence are treatable and persons are capable of achieving the outcomes they desire. PHS accepts private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and self payments.
